# Privacy Policy — Meet Push-to-Talk

**Last updated:** August 2026

Meet Push-to-Talk does not collect, store, transmit, or share any data of any kind.

## What the extension does
- Runs only on `meet.google.com`.
- Controls whether your own microphone audio track is sent during a call (muted by default, live while holding Space).
- Saves one setting locally — whether the extension is turned on or off — using Chrome's `storage` API, on your device only.

## What it does not do
- Does not record, save, or transmit audio or video.
- Does not send any data to any server. There is no backend.
- Does not use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party scripts.
- Does not access any site other than meet.google.com.

## Permissions
- `storage` — stores the on/off toggle locally on your device.
- Content script access to `meet.google.com` — required to detect and gate the microphone track.
